The story of Het Anker

Brewing on the Het Anker site in Mechelen traces back to a 15th century hospital brewery. Today it is best known for Gouden Carolus, named for Emperor Charles V.

Gouden Carolus Imperial Blond was reputedly inspired by the favorite beer of Emperor Charles V.
