Who can use it
Jolly Monks is about alcohol and is for adults of legal drinking age (21 and older in the United States, or the legal age where you live). By using it you confirm you meet that age. Please enjoy beer responsibly and follow the laws where you are.
What Jolly Monks is
An independent, editorial guide to Belgian beer, with optional accounts, a personal Passport, and AI features. It is provided for information and enjoyment.
The AI features
Ask the Monk and Scan a Label use artificial intelligence to generate recommendations and identify beers. AI can be wrong. Responses, beer identifications, pairings, ratings, and cellaring or serving suggestions are estimates offered for your interest, not professional, medical, or commercial advice. Use your own judgment, and verify anything that matters.
Your account
If you sign in, you are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is handled by Google, so keep your Google account secure.
Your content
Your Passport and conversations belong to you. By using the site you give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the features (syncing across your devices and personalizing recommendations). You can delete them at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site. That means no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or abuse it or its AI features, no unlawful use, and no interfering with anyone else's use.

Our content
