The story of de Jandrain-Jandrenouille

Alexandre Dumont de Chassart and Arnaud Thomee, both from the brewing industry, started this farmhouse brewery in Walloon Brabant in 2008 and made their reputation immediately with their first beer, IV Saison. The house style is the old saison tradition with a distinctly modern hop hand.

The brewery built its reputation on a single beer, and IV Saison is still the one it is known for.

Saison · 6.5% ABV

Proof that the saison tradition is still being written. Two former brewing-industry men, Alexandre Dumont de Chassart and Arnaud Thomee, started this farmhouse brewery at Orp-Jauche in 2008 and made their reputation on this first beer: unfiltered, unpasteurised, bottle refermented, and generously dry hopped in a way older saisons never were.
