Bright, golden and deceptively strong, with notes of floral, citrus, herbal, finishing rich and sweet.
Serve at 8-12°C in a tulip to maintain a generous head and let the aromas bloom.

Can age. Will soften and gain a honeyed depth, though it is lovely fresh too.
"Pairs with grilled fish, roast poultry, or a fresh soft cheese."
Cook this: moules-frites, creamy brie or fresh chevre on toast, or a wedge of aged abbey cheese (Chimay, Orval).

Brasserie Lupulus grew out of Les 3 Fourquets, the Ardennes brewery started by the Waegeneer family at Gouvy. Named for the botanical name of the hop, Humulus lupulus, the brewery rebranded around its flagship blonde. Unfiltered and refermented in champagne-style bottles, Lupulus Blonde is a strong golden ale with a floral, citrusy hop character over a dry, honeyed body.
On the Belgian Strong Golden Ale style, Deceptively drinkable strong ale. Pale color, high carbonation, and fruity/spicy yeast notes. Similar to Tripel but often lighter in body and drier.

Pour it into a tulip, served around 8-12°C, and let its aromatics open before the first sip. Lovely now, though a year or two will only soften and deepen it.
